I think Citizens United should be overturned, so no party can spend this much money on an election. Corporations are considered people because of the conservatives on the Supreme Court. That means corporations from outside of the state’s elections can pour as much money into these elections as they want to.
I am more concerned with policy than win or lose numbers. One of the many policies I am concerned with is our crumbling infrastructure.
It’s a known fact here that I cannot stand our 45th president. I also said on this site when and if the 45th did something I agreed with, I would applaud it. The 45th’s plan for our infrastructure is not something I am applauding.
When the city of Chicago sold its parking meters to private Wall Street investors, parking rates doubled, and last year Chicagoans paid $156 million in parking fees – but the city did not see a dime of it.
Now, Trump wants to take the Chicago failure national in a massive handout to well-connected billionaires. His so-called “infrastructure plan” would sell America’s roads and bridges to Wall Street, political cronies and foreign governments so they can line their pockets with tolls and fees.
Under Trump’s proposal, Americans would pay to give private corporations a subsidy to buy the infrastructure Americans build and funded. We would pay the “Trump tolls” those companies charge to return massive profits to well-connected Wall Street investors, and we would pay with poorer health and fewer jobs when those companies focus on projects that maximize profits instead of investing in clean energy from wind and solar, small roads and bridges and repairing water systems that poison children.
Was it a landslide? No. Sooo…your point? You just want to act like a child and call people losers? My goodness Ryan, get a grip. This just further confirms the fact that the United States of America is in fact ununited. This is NOT a good thing for our country. Do you get that?
Besides this, Christianity is also on the decline, what’s the score that you’re keeping there?

It was super close for an unknown 30 year old, running as a democrat in a district that hasn’t voted in a democrat in almost 40 years. Plus, this district is predominately upper class; so they were voting in their best interest – they want less taxes which trumpet like politicians are promising….for the 1%.
The resistance is moving slowly. You will see a different WA DC come 2018. I promise that. And you will start whining again.
You know what wasn’t as close as the GA election? The presidential election. But guess what you did, you went out and screamed about the lead Hillary had over Trump.

You are right. It wasn’t close. Hillary got 3 million more votes. And when you count all the other parties, 10 million people didn’t vote for Trump. Thanks to Russian interference and gerrymandering, the 45th was able to take the WH with the electoral college.
We’ll just have to wait and see all the evidence. The Liar in Chief finally admits he doesn’t have any tapes on Comey.

How about the motorcyclist who tried to run over protesters today? He tried to run over people with disabilities and old people.
The event was part of a national day of action regarding the healthcare legislation, which is moving through the Senate with little public input or notice.
The group lying in the street included seniors and people with various disabilities, because they would be among those most affected by the legislation.
It is all so enjoyable to sit back and watch. Pelosi says the funniest things and gets her thoughts messed up. It gets me laughing. Anyone that hitches their political wagon to Pelosi or Warren are going to lose. The Democrats don’t have anything that gives the middle-America citizen any hope. The majority does not want the New World Order.
And pulling out of Paris? Well lots of men have pulled out of Paris. It’s nothing new.
Guess what? We are still in the Paris Agreement. We are in it for 4 more years no matter what. And we have already paid 1/2 of what we owe. Michael Bloomberg is paying the rest with his own money, $15 million to keep our promise.
The only thing Trump did was make us look like fools to the rest of the world. Everybody except Syria and Nicaragua signed the agreement. Syria is a little busy trying to keep their country from g getting blown up, and Nicaragua didn’t sign because they didn’t think the agreement went far enough.
