American Politics Post-Trump: Yes Everything Is REALLY Bad Out There for Everyone (Almost)

A must read post, especially if you are going crazy with the current political scene, whatever your disposition.

And, it is bad. Largely, I am not going crazy, because I don’t give much about American politics. I view it as an alien views it, not to get involved, and not considering anything of much importance. (Which, yes, offends both parties, but doesn’t, because I am seen immediately as neither a “nazi” nor a “commie”.)

I have been annoyed by both, though, probably largely to the extreme radicals on the right. As we have both sides here, the left tends to bug me because of their hyperfocus on some meaningless [to me] issues. And that does leak out whenever I even just scroll past headlines.

Where I tend to get tormented by the right is in PVP video games I love to play. Hopefully, the ones who do this are the very extreme edge of modern conservativeness. But, yes, I play in large scale games with forty players on my team, and much too frequently, there is some guy stating something absurdly terrible against women, gays, african americans, and even Jews.

Anti-gay comments pretty common in video games, though have lessened. Was far more common in the much more intellectually demanding game I play (Warcraft), then the more mainstream games like call of duty.

I am extremely against (real) Nazis AND Communists, but Nazis are worse. So, these sorts of comments quickly make me violent.

Dick statements have also risen up. And worse, trolling behavior. Well used to trolls from working in computer security. They started in that area, albeit of course, no one good was a troll. (A few famous, but deeply erroneously called “good” by the media.)

Now trolling is mainstream. It has spread to kids all over America. Why, when? No idea. But it is just now really cropping up so bad I can’t even avoid it in my preferred video game.

The basic idea is that the highest virtue is to be a sadistic, foul mouthed creep. Like any cult, they have a lot of “reasons” behind their moral code.

I think the anti-women posts get me the most enraged, though. Thankfully, they tend to be far more rare. Before this year, I never hear anti-Jew statements in that game. I have been playing that same game for over ten years now.

The anti-woman statement… the last one a guy made, thankfully, he got slammed by multiple people by pointing out he is probably gay. Which is, sadly, a big reality behind a lot of alt-righters and the MRA movement. Though, ostensibly the later is full of frustrated heterosexuals who can not “get any”.

If I wasn’t well endowed and very good looking (albeit far from a masculine look– “cherubic”, “angel/demon” is a common description for me), well… no, I do not think I would blame my failures on women. And not so theoretical, my type is liked by some women, but not all. (Except for the well endowed part, but that is not something I am going to trumpet, ever.)

Sure, my failure to get All the Girls is because of, wait. No, it is because of me. Research studies show guys with very high testosterone are the most attractive widely and deeply to women, while the reverse is true with men (high estrogen women most attractive to men).

As that movement largely comprises of pencil dicks, nerds, geeks, and obviously guys with severe personality and mental disorders…. what we can call the “True Asshole Pschopathic Syndrome”…

But, I digress!

Next to the fact that MRA’rs exploit an already supermassive, historically massive part of our society….. embracing a legacy of severe negative behavior that makes the african slave trade look like a flea circus… it is the sheer irrationality and hypocrisy of it. How can you be less manly, less masculine then to be zealously in a “men’s right movement”? Seriously.

On gays in it, I view that as an extremely small minority, as most gays I have ever known are far from woman haters. Actually, the closest gays I know, apart from a previous boss and roommate, are two friends of my wife. My mom also had gay friends.

But, yeah… some kind of rare gays are in it, making a noticeable percentage. And then, the rest are hyper defensive, obviously very unmasculine guys, which is the exact opposite of gays in terms of no one is more scared of being gay or more deeply horrified by the accusation then they are.

Anyway! Diversion.

Point to article. It REALLY IS BAD OUT THERE, EVERYWHERE.

Not just you, not just me.

Not just Democrats! Not just Republicans!

(I know plenty of fine folks from both ends of the spectrum.)
