OK, I will admit that cutting all the furniture in half with a chain saw during a divorce was naughty, but I promised my soon-to-be-ex that I would only take what is right, and leave him what is left. I left him the left side of each piece of furniture. I am a woman of my word. That divorce was a war, and all is fair in love and war. Cutting his clothes, ties, shoes, boots and business suits was going too far, but it was fun at the time.
As for the many times I picked up and left a situation, or marriage, it was self preservation. I have paid my dues in life and done a lot of good.

The times I have not been good turned out to be valuable learning experiences. It helped me better understand the value of the opposite.
Not this year, but years passed, yes. And I am paying for it this year. Just as the planets circle the sun, everything comes back around.
