   More people have died in Planned Parenthood clinics than military service members or students in schools combined.

       You’re right.

       But the original point wasn’t a really strong point, it was simply an appeal to emotion. That’s why I responded in kind.

       More people have died from lots of things when compared to military service members in combat.

       It’s not really an argument for or against anything. It’s just a truism.

       Combat tragedies are in a decline with advancements in arms and techniques of warfare. Second, combat exposure for US troops is declining. Third, it’s cost prohibitive for a US troop to die.

       Here’s a list of things killing children at a rate higher than our armed forces dying in combat-

       * Drugs
       * Suicides
       * Car crashes
       * Gang violence
       * Domestic violence

       Just throwing a high shock value statistic out there doesn’t actually argue or prove causality or a point.

       I could have explained all this to @gina4peas at the beginning, but I would have been wasting my time.

       I hold you to a higher standard.
