The main issues here are these things called emotion, point of view (from your video series that everyone sees themselves as the hero of their own story – something that simply should not be, given we can’t all be “heroes”). It’s the classic tale of AIs gone wrong. They see that humans are flawed, emotional, and thus need to be either controlled or eliminated. Take away these aspect of it, and we can do pretty good by ourselves. And it’s easily done if we look at not only the short term, but the whole history (including any creation mythos, of how things started) and our certain future as a species of where things are going (i.e. the fact that we know at some point that mankind will be no more — either due to the fact that the planet will be destroyed due to the sun will die out and there are no other planets that are able to support our continued existence OR we wipe ourselves out due to war.)

It primarily should be, and is, but in an evil world people’s weighing of matters internally get skewed. And this remains an evil world.
