Every trait you describe is one in which it is viewed from a human perspective. It really can’t be helped because you…we…are human.
I think we need to somehow step out of our box and consider that there is more beyond the very limited parameters through which we exist.
I like to separate the physical through the contemplation of the consciousness. That’s still a limitation though, because in many ways our consciousness can be the result of a synergistic energy created through the combination of the physical.
There is a school of thought the “we” are the Universe looking at Itself. When we die we are re-absorbed into the Totality within a much broader consciousness that we have no capacity to fathom within our current context.
That might mean that we will never fully understand our particular role as we exist at the moment, but we can consider what it could mean if any of the above is true. There is no loss in being observant and engaging in our surroundings. We benefit personally from taking that approach. I call this Spitfire’s Wager.
I noticed that you used lower case for God. That does de-personify the term, but I use it to apply importance to something that is much bigger than lower case me.
Regarding your last question. All decisions lower case we make,are based on either love or fear. If you can find acceptance that upper case God, is in actuality upper case Love in its purest incarnation; there is no room for fear.
@spitfire3dc it’s weird, but for some reason, my computer types it that way, and I don’t know why. it is possible that I have intentionally typed it that way in the past resulting in autocorrecting to the lower case. even giving it a name at all is a human convention.
you’re referring to the cosmic consciousness. I think we believe in a similar way, maybe. consciousness emerged and that is the great mystery and no one, as far as I can tell really knows how or why, not us, not the trees, not even the stars, but that doesn’t make the thing any less beautiful. to me it is no less beautiful if we attach labels and ideas to it or not.
God is a quintessential ideal, the Grandest over-arching concept of LIFE we can fathom, raised to Infinity.
Religion has personified this, and writings have “humanicized” this for easier understanding.
But simply put, Life somehow over-rides (or at the very least mitigates) the Second Law of Thermodynamics to disturbing degree. We are getting more and more complex over time; and at an alarming comparative rate.
But not nearly so complex as to intelligently respond to the questions you ask!
All we have is the “If I were God” complex, munged by ego. An amoeba would have an easier time trying to fathom Humans. There is at least cellular commonality we can physical see and understand as a starting point.
God is the Mystery, the unknowable essence and power of all of the universes. To give God human characteristics is to make God small and belittled. We humans can never know and understand the great power of God —– anymore than a table can understand the carpenter who made that table.

I have seen visions of a time before the universe. In these, ultimately, you see the progression of being from nothing… where nothing might become something, if there is enough of it… in billions, trillions of years.
More importantly, “all this”, Heaven and earths – and many earths – the story here is just getting started.
Yet, all of this is “as if” in God’s mind. Despite that, God gains children. That is what it is all about. Just as we see down here.
“is god looking through your eyes?”
I only once recall an interstellar being look through my eyes. They saw how big it was, and were in awe.
I definitely, however, feel that I have had death and hell in me. And all those in it. So, it has been a long and difficult road. And they were well cordoned off, so they did not really see anything.
Otherwise, definitely have wondered, if I am John Malkovich in Being John Malkovich… but I literally could sense that one being in my head… and could hear the grave and hell.
Hear and feel.
Otherwise, I see angels manipulate people all the time. Seems to be my superpower. To create living stage shows. Then, who manipulates me? I am not sure if angels do this through the Holy Ghost, or if the Holy Ghost does this through Angels.
Finally, when I think back and see through God, I see Him as usually at some distance for various “shows”. A quiet, invisible Spirit who works with others, but also stays back.

The blind aside, our eyes are the windows of our soul. They are used for communication. They are intensely important for communication.

I do not fear non-existence, so God would not, either. Consider the size of the universe, then consider God made all of this. So, our perception of “who God is” change very quickly when we come to remember: ‘all that’? Is God’s doing and God’s throne.
I can not even imagine non-existence. I like finding those who can, because it is an impossibility to me, so fascinating how it is their perspective. No hope.

As an atheist, i have to answer that there is no god that we can prove within the bounds of science
