Happy Veteran’s Day!
It is the VETERAN ,not the preacher
Who has given us the freedom of religion
It is the VETERAN, not the reporter
Who has given us the freedom of the press
It is the VETERAN, not the poet
Who has given us the freedom of speech
It is the VETERAN, not the campus organizer
Who has given us the freedom to assemble
It is the VETERAN, not the lawyer
Who has given us the freedom to a fair trail
It is the VETERAN, not the politician
Who has given us the freedom to vote
THANK YOU to all of our Veterans who have served, all of our active Military Men/Women and all your amazing families! Freedom doesn’t come free, much respect honor and gratitude to those who fought and continue to fight for it!

As nice as this poem is, it isn’t accurate. Our military didn’t give us these things, they protect these rights. Our Founding Father’s are responsible for giving us these rights.
Either way, I thank all veterans who are on this site for your service and your sacrifice.
