The majority of the complexities in my life are my own fault. If something or someone is causing my life to be complicated, I try to deal with that person or thing head on. When I don’t…it’s back to my own fault for not addressing the situation.
My own life is not complex at all. I avoid all things Muslim and stay away from the insanity of the Left. I can fight it best by simply voting. People can rant, rave, rip up a city, riot and protest, shoot people that don’t agree with them, and make public lunatic statements and it changes nothing in my life —- and my vote.
The more the Leftists protest, the more their tears wash me further to the Right.
I tend to my household, greenhouse garden, pets, and partner. Life is good. Life is simple.
Life is definitely like a box of chocolates. Sometimes you can get the simplicity of a solid milk piece and others will be full of shredded coconut and pecans.
The complexities of my personal life is definitely by my own doing for the most part. I could make my life a lot easier by removing myself from many of my responsibilities, but the consequences are not something I am willing to face. So, I keep up with my obligations and try to make sure that I consistently live with healthy balances.
The complexities in the world is truly a sad situation. We have far too many cooks in the kitchen and all with their own recipes and ingredients! I think that’s why I now pretty much laugh at the idea of “world peace”. I think we need to start with inner peace and fix the communities that we can affect and the effects of those actions and changes will affect the world.
We have total say over how simple or complicated our own “personal kingdom” is. That’s not saying it’s easy — but it’s “ours” and we get to do what we wish with it.
Society is slightly more complicated; and is not always something we can do something about/change. But we can change ourselves, positively or negatively, to “allow” for these things in life we cannot change.
Sometime we have to work within the often-unnecessary complications imposed by others. But then we get to return to our “personal kingdom” — as complicated or uncomplicated as we have endeavored to make it.
“Fault”?
I try very hard not to play that game. It’s a distracting boondoggle against enacting the changes in our own personal kingdom that will make it what we wish it to be.

Life is simple. It’s all mind over matter…if you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.
Life in California, Oregon, and Washington state (thankfully I don’t live there), is like a bowl of granola, what aint fruits and nuts is flakes.
sometimes. But what about when things GET complex / complicated?
If you don’t like your situation, change your attitude.
Try it, it works. Life is 90% attitude and 10% effort.
im full on responsible for how complicated my life can get.
but i feel like all i do is crave simplicity
