How do you “see” yourself in the world?

Interpret the question however you wish.

I see myself different. I get more and more glimpses of myself as woven in.

The sun and the tree look integrated. Are they separate, or is that just an illusion?

@Scarlett That is a beautiful shot. You know I thought of a song. According to The Flaming Lips, it’s just an illusion caused by the world spinning round. (this is one of the most direct, beautiful songs ever written, in my humble opinion.)

Do You Realize – that you have the most beautiful face
Do You Realize – we’re floating in space –
Do You Realize – that happiness makes you cry
Do You Realize – that everyone you know someday will die

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes – let them know
You realize that life goes fast
It’s hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn’t go down
It’s just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

Do You Realize – Oh – Oh – Oh
Do You Realize – that everyone you know
      Someday will die –
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes – let them know
You realize that life goes fast
It’s hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn’t go down
It’s just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

Kind of a ghost. I’m someone who has more of an online presence than a physical one. I’m like a grain of sand. Sure, I’m here, but there isn’t much impact being made with the single grain. I’m like a planet in the Andromeda galaxy. Sure, I’m there and not terribly hard to find, but how many people know about me in particular? I’m just one of billions, and I’m not really against that.

I see myself as phenomenal: within the understanding of phenomenology.
I am phenomena of the overarching concept (meta archetype) of Life: an intimate interconnected part of all-that-is, free to interact and affect all-that-is. Perhaps in fascinating ways I can not yet fathom.

The antithesis of this would be existence as just an epiphenomena of Life: an auxiliary symptom of it. Like a sniffle or a bad case of gas! There, but not really a connected or interactive part of the greater phenomena.
A reaction to Life, rather than a pro-action of Life.

Depending on the limits you put on the question. Look up “who I’d be” song from the shrek musical

I used to feel the weight of the world on my shoulders, but I have come to the understanding that every small act I do puts out positive energy that helps the earth.

To be totally honest; I think I see myself as a loser and I don’t think that is necessarily a bad thing. It motivates me to try harder.

I also see myself as an enthusiastic participant in anything I get involved in. If an association needs a president to lead a charge; I can be counted on to provide the leadership. If I participate in a volunteer activity where leadership is failing; I assist in establishing direction and productivity.

I can be a great follower when motivated by a strong leader, but put a dope on the reins and I’m outta there.
