Probably because I seem to have taken more heroic ventures into the unknown than many people I know.
I understand that hiding from “Murphy” behind walls actual or abstract (fear, laziness, nihilism) is only a recipe for making one weaker and more susceptible to “the unknown” — which always and inevitably rears its head when we’re at our weakest.
(Usually when we’re trying to justify hiding from the stark reality, of reality)
