…your never going to keep me down.
How do you get up after getting knocked down?
It’s simple for me, I change my attitude, how I look at things. I let the light in.
Sleep, water, movement, real food…Good energy, and positivity to help find the balance.

Dude just put these up days ago!
@luftballooneyegouge
@luftballooneyegouge Dude! It was a different group covering the same song. It happens to be my 2018 theme song man.
Thanks for posting Nirvana, my home boys. In my opinion, they put rock back on the map after many dismal years. And they were the first rock band to support gay rights in a huge way. They donated so much money to the march on Washington that I attended back in 92, they made it to the program with all the corporate sponsors.
I simply reset myself and move forward. I don’t look back over my shoulder. Keep going.
@yin YUS!
@yin Awesome song. I saw them open for Green Day and Hole back in the day. Hole was the headliner believe it or not.
Changing ourselves, especially our attitude or our “religion” (a notion that we think makes us “saved” and “right”), remains one of the more difficult things for we humans to do.
It ties to ego — and also to teach-ability. To change ourselves runs the risk of “liability” that we were “wrong” in what we once did/thought. To learn, we have to admit that we don’t have all the answers.
And change is particularly hard when ego has had us endorsing a position for years — debating for, arguing for, dismissing others based on it. Any change would require not just admitting we were a fool for years, but a very loud fool!
@griz Do you think evolving and change are the same thing?
@Gina
Perhaps evolution is change that sticks and proves itself good over time.
Many changes have happened over the eons that were bad; that didn’t pan out. I think it callow hubris to hold that all changes we might make are “evolutionary”.
A number of them could even prove “de-evolutionary”.
I’m stubborn but…
I kinda have this thing that failure is just a message that I might have had the wrong objective anyway and if I just leave happenstance to motivate alternatives; it will all work out.
I wanted to be a pilot. Had myself accepted in a post secondary course that would lead me there. Was accepted and then 3 weeks before the start of semester was told the list of accepted candidates was being reduced.. I missed the cut by about 20. Took another course that had room and went in an entirely different direction that has become the backbone of what I do now. No regrets.
It led me to my wife, which started my existing family, that eventually got me into an entrepreneurial career which is who I actually am. The Universe nudged and I rolled with the punches. I still do.
@spitfire3dc Living with regret is like carrying around a bag of stinky cheese that is inedible. You look at life in a very healthy way.
@Gina You do too Gina. If you ever disappeared from this site; I’d be gone.
i never make it to the ground, if im knocked im already bouncing away and back and fighting my way through. i cant afford to hit the ground. after the fight when im bone tired and know i can reach the end that is in sight. when i can afford to lose my shit a little. then i fall. once i am finished tearing the shit out of the couch that has to go :D i dont let myself hit the ground when im knocked by life, then id be screwed. i might be black and blue but im fighting back
its the after. then i curl up and shake it out and stretch and get back up and go forward. i just have to. then i find my zen and start over. take stock. see whats up and what needs to be done next.
@BelleMadre Keep on fighting sister soldier.
