It’s not what you say, but how you say it, or don’t say it…

I saw this on Facebook and thought it made a lot of sense…

I have resting “bitch face” and walk into a room and I can see you taking an inner census of your actions and inaction. You ask what I am thinking, feeling, I look like I am judging you. You ask, “What?” and I say, “I don’t know what. I am the woman who doesn’t know what.” Actually, I am surveying the scene and seeing if our world is peaceful and tranquil. I take stock of the cats. Are they OK? I hope no one is fighting. I check for Midnight and, if I see him, I check to make sure he still has ears and his throat is not ripped open. My whole aim in life is to keep home peaceful and make it a soft place to fall into and relax —– after your hard day of working out on facebook.

    I agree… there are empaths… and sociopaths…

And empaths for a spiritual *listening* connection.

    Sociopaths… dont.

It’s not the label you put on someone, its the way you treat them that counts.

Sure, I think there are highly sensitive people, but even if they are listening and watching what you don’t say, that doesn’t always mean that their interpretations are correct. Everyone puts their own slants on things because of their history.
