The latest person at the center of the #metoo movement is Tom Brokaw. He has now been publicly outed for what a former colleague alleges was sexual harassment. He has responded to her allegations in not to colleagues. You can read his response here if you want:

My questions to you are:
Tom Brokaw was once one of the trusted new people of the U.S. That was before the term “fake news” was coined.
Tom is a prolific writer as you can see by his response, and I have to admit his response even created doubt in my own mind. Yet, he also goes out of his way to degrade the woman, rather than just rebutting that “it didn’t happen that way” from his recollection.
In the #metoo outings, how do you judge who has journalistic integrity?
Are there some cases where it is a he said/ she said or are we always to believe the women, or just not choose sides?
why do you think bill Cosby, a black man, was the first to be convicted? why not Harvey Weinstein?
if you are a woman, what is it like to be a woman in the #metoo era?
If you are a man, what is It like to be a man in the #metoo era?

The people you see giving you the news are rarely real journalists. The term “talking heads” was created when news became entertainment Having intelligence is a bonus but not a determining factor in sitting in the big chair.
The tone of voice, the appearance, the clothing, the lighting, the chemistry between co anchors. That is WAY more important to a hungry, superficial audience. Facts are now secondary.
In this specific instance, I am more likely to believe it happened than to not believe it happened. I have personally met talking heads and the ones I have interacted with have a certain tendency to believe that they are what they are promoted to be.
You can say you have integrity but saying it and having it are two different things.
It comes down to this. The very core of most men’s brains remains focused on having sex.Have it with as many fertile females as possible. It is at the very core of our human existence. Women are more selective. They inherently are the gatekeepers required to improve the race from the available gene pool.
So now, as an entertainer, you take advantage of the belief that you are a quality fertilizing mechanism. People keep telling you that until you are totally convinced. It becomes hard to believe that anyone wouldn’t want you to fertilize them. And then comes the issue of now wanting to overcome the challenge of refusal, because after all you are a prime specimen.

This is poignantly linked to something I offered months ago that was very quickly disparaged.
The observation that men test ideas and women test men.
Even reaching back decades to apply new standards and interpretation to by-gone realities.
It’s like trying to reach back and re-score an old sporting event by a new set of rules adopted just last week.

To not put too blunt of an edge on it, men have to automatically believe the women if they want any genetic representation in Humanity’s future. (Statistically, all women pass their genes on at least once: whereas fewer than 50% of men get to. Women are the key determining factor in the shape of our species and by extension the societies of it)
We may think that all these other games we are playing are important.
But for the future of our species, the “pass on good genes” game is the most important one.
And women are almost entirely in control of the good ship Hypergamy. (Hidden ovulation and selective breeding are what distinguished pre-humans from apes)
BTW, consider that for now the Cosby versus Weinstein comparison is mostly a confabulation of a group victimhood agenda for one simple reason.
Time.
We are years into the Cosby incident.
The Weinstein situation is just getting started.
It is way too early to try to draw any kind of a comparison between the two; especially using a single factor analysis like racism or sexism.
Remember that anything feels it’s floundering tends to make desperate reaches.
As a woman in the #metoo #timesup era I feel vindicated, redemption, hopeful. Like many who are “members” of the #metoo movement, the worst part of our nightmare was not being believed, and being labeled a liar. So yeah, I am super glad this is happening.
In regards to the handling of Cosby vs Weinstein, I would not label this a white/black thing; at least not yet. Weinstein hasn’t gone to trial yet. His shit unfolded in Oct 2017. The Cosby shit unfolded in Oct 2014.

I find it fascinating how I can look back and see who these people really were, all along. What made them different. It was a dark spirit that empowered them… so Americans were under the spell, for instance, by Bill Cosby. Or, Kevin Spacey. Now, I see how they ‘carry themselves’ and can read their strange facial and body language.
I view this as endemic to the edge of a new world we are coming into. For me, and for many, we worked to create tools and ensure the survival of an internet where the real news can be carried.
But, there is potentially a lot of work there left, and most of the totalitarian nations – the tyrant rule nations – have their internet very closely shuttered and watched.
Finally, we know this is the tip of the iceberg, because these are like vampires caught and brought to daylight. We can make the educated guess that this is the very case.
These “vampires” have been as if feeding on “power”, and it has sustained their powers.
“Power” in quotes, because they are simply as dogs and pigs. They do not have the power to add one second to their life, nor to evade exposure and capture.
The later is true for our chief sexual deviant in the seat of the White House.
And that fact, that society allows a sexual pervert remain in office… shows just how miserable matters really are here.
Like it was to be a man prior to the #metoo era.
