For those who don’t have streaming video capabilities In this “nerd wallet” commercial, people are faced with a number of choices that make them go “uhhh…” due to indecisiveness over the number of choices they face.
In this world of multiple, multiple choices, do you stick with the tested, familiar, the comfortable, the known… or do you stake out to the unknown, the uncomfortable, the unfamiliar, and/ or the untested thing(s)? Why?

I stick to choices I know for the most part.
My choice to meet Immortal Pirate 6 years ago did put me in an uncomfortable spot of driving across mountains and deserts at night — all alone. However, it worked out for both of us.
As for the perils that can happen, I would rather know about them. If a sand storm is approaching, I want to know about it BEFORE it gets here. I need to bring the cats inside. I might need to cover my car, or pull it into the garage BEFORE it gets sand-blasted.
Then there is the Nemesis solar system that is causing warming and weather changes to all of the planets in our solar system as it passes them. Nibiru, aka Planet X and Wormwood, is changing our weather, causing earthquakes and tsunami waves, making volcanoes erupt, and making the sun go wild with radiation that puts our magnetosphere in a crazy flux. Why do I want to know about it? Why do I follow it on it’s journey around the sun? Because I would rather know what is happening, when it will get worse, and when the danger is passing. I want to be prepared for all the damages it will do to our Earth and my chances of survival. I would rather know all of that, rather than not know and be thinking that the Earth is heating up and will make life hell for the next generations. I know that Nibiru will pass Earth this Fall season and will be heading out of our solar system ——- returning things to a new normal. Then, the weather will return to what it was before all this happened. It might shift our poles, or turn the globe on it’s side. Then the “New Normal” will be the old North Pole and South Poles become tropical and the sun may rise in the North and set in the South. Life will adjust. Humans will migrate to fresh new places in the sun. People who were once tropical will be buying snow suits, or moving. Who knows what new adventures are to come? I would rather know that it was Nibiru / Planet X passing that set us on our side, rather that not knowing and not understanding what the hell happened to our planet.
When faced with the unknown, and you’re completely unsure as to which option to go with, how do you go about making a choice?
I weigh the pros and cons. When my choice is made, I list what I have to do to make that choice come to fruition in my life. Each task on that list is doable and less overwhelming than the whole task all at once.
The reality is that we cannot know all things. Even science experiences limitations in what it can prove beyond all doubt. (And it’s a Fool’s process to think that just because we could not render something it is non-existent or unimportant)
Sticking with the same old processes will mean the same old results. We only grow when we step out in faith.
Faith in ourselves, in the manifest reality around us, in our ability to heal from hurt and disappointment, in our ability to learn from such things and emerge as overcomers.
That is exactly why we must rely on what we can!
It said that insanity is doing the same things but expecting different results.
We’ve tried just relying on our feelings and our emotions, our logic and our reason such as they are; our religions and gods of flesh.
And we’re in a downward spiral. Oh, our tech is growing. But the human organism is growing weaker and weaker; of its own “”reason and logic””. ( our children have become fatally susceptible to words flashed on an LCD screen, and are more allergic to the environment basic foodstuffs and susceptible to infection thanks to rampant use of antibiotics and sanitizers. And we still think this makes sense!)
We need to put our faith in something other than just our fool selves.
You misunderstood. I’m talking about things we can KNOW through the lens of science. Feelings while “known” are not in that category.
That lens can only focus things physical. And even this requires a lot of inference at times.
A lens wrought of the Spirit is needed to focus things spiritual.
And the caution with feelings and emotions running amok is that they cloud both lenses.
