I am not perfect. I know I often speak as if I think I am, but I am certainly not. I strive for perfection, but have fallen into every manner of sin. Error. You don’t have to be a legalist to ‘have a zeal for God, but lacking knowledge’.
I don’t like being imperfect, I want to be perfect. I think God alone brings perfection, and even striving for it can be detrimental.
We can idealize others, and some deserve it. But, we can trust that Jesus, alone was perfect, and so perfectly is the Son of God.
I can see a lot, I have a pretty pure heart, I have a number of very powerful gifts. I am strong. But, I am not that strong and not that pure. I have been a drunk, a drug abuser, prideful, a pervert, just about every bad thing a person can be.

Keep adding a 0 to the day(s) and ask “does it matter” and eventually the answer will be no.

@Jear77 Well, you did not define your view of perfect and I did not define my view. Jesus is perfect, God is perfect.
But even that, what does that mean.
I spoke only of momentary perfection.
