Blue. I’d hope that my opinions still stayed about the same even if I lost my memory, but I think I could do more good overall with 50 million and no memories than to restart my life with all of the memories/knowledge I have.
@yin yes, that is probably true, too. I doubt I would do too much if I started over even with everything I know. I’m kinda a slacker.
I had to take a whole box of red pills just to feel like a newborn, and the blue pill just gave me a boner.
Would I be a newborn baby in modern time or at the beginning of my life?

A very valid point.
While every child “makes that time their own”, I do see the world today as a very different kind of place for a child — and not always in a good sort of way.

I’d have to go red because I know money is the root of all evil. More money does not guarantee happiness.
I’d rather have a shot at finding happiness on my own.

Imagine having all that money, but with no wisdom gained from experience or anchor of who the “true you” really is.
It might seem very “dreamy” at first, but I think the money would very quickly “take over” and you would just become a function of it, rather than vice versa. The dream would become a nightmare.
I think I would take the red pill too. I wouldn’t mind taking the ride again, knowing what I know now.
@mamajoy raises an interesting point too. The world of my youth is a very different place from the world of today’s children. The world has always been a dangerous place, but today seems like a far more fearful place, with more restrictions and limitations. The “long and carefree childhood” seems like more and more a thing of the past. Had I a choice, I would like to be a child back “during my times”.
But if I didn’t have that choice, I think I could still rock things and have a lot of fun being a child today!
I think I would have a lot more fun with the growing-up process; perhaps shock an oldie or two with my precocious ability to fly a plane and drive a rig! I could dabble in “child prodigy” territory when it came to skills, wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, philosophical discussion.
And I would have the presence of mind to get some wise investments started early! There’s a path to the wise administration of wealth that is mostly by-passed when it’s just suddenly there. Plus to have no memories, no experience, no wisdom to fall back on, I think the blue-pill would prove a dream-that-becomes-a-nightmare.
