What do you guys think about the democrats holding the American citizen’s budget hostage for non-citizens, for an issue that the democrats were supposed to figure out outside of budget negotiations?
I think that it is horrid, that Democrats value people here illegally — lawbreakers — more than the American citizens and those who came and got citizenship the legal way. I think that Democrats see the illegal law breakers as perspective Democratic votes and they want those more than safety for our citizens and the fair and legal balance ( both R and D) of the documented citizens. Democrats will do anything to cheat the system.
Now, the Democrats don’t want the wall, when just 6 years ago they did want a more secure border. The reason they are fighting it now is because President Trump wants the wall, and the majority of American citizens want the border wall.
Trump had 2 bi-partisan bills he turned down that would have kept the government open. Trump got pissy because Kelly said something about the wall he didn’t like. The GOP can’t function with this wishy-washy baby man in office.

Of the two combatants in this political Coliseum only one has historically and repeatedly stated a vested interest in shrinking or even shutting down the government in part or in whole.
Only one has openly mused cutting off funding and just letting it fail, in part or in whole.
If the pond dries up while the fish and the camel are jockeying for power, it takes a special kind of foolishness to try to blame the fish.

But immediate removal of 3/4 of the supports of any structure would seem to fall more in the realm of the fools than the wise.

I was able to gather them together for carrying in my purse.

Pointlessly carrying a sign??? Ha! 4.2 million marched across this country last weekend. It was the largest protest march in the history of the United States. That doesn’t even count all the pussy hats that marched across the globe. Many seeds of activism have been planted at these marches. 26,000 women have signed up to run for office in all levels of government since trump was elected.
This isn’t a moment, it’s a movement. See you in November. There will be liberal tears flowing, happy ones.
