What we consider existence, is the Dark Dream. It is Dark because it’s tied almost entirely to just the physical, which we all know is framed and governed by Death.
Into this realm of Death, come Agents of Light. Those either gifted or guided with a zeal to seek Spiritual Vision of Light. These Agents walk in the Dream of Darkness, participating in the Vision of Light: one that can and does have drastic positive effect upon, within, and against the Dream of Darkness. The Vision of Light is everyone’s birthright, though many choose to leave it unclaimed.
Within the the Vision of Light, there is a tight tapestry of of flow and what we might call “random” convergence that ties all things together. But there are those convinced they are trapped within the Dark Dream with no hope, no control, little meaningful purpose; and those who by the grace afforded them, move with little effort through and even against the flow of it at will: seeing in their meager efforts, the Vision of Light tying all things together in an intentional dance of choice that we all participate in, even if we cannot see it.
And for those that do there is a humbling yet uplifting message: that should we choose to willingly participate in the Vision of Light, what we may see as just our own uninspired efforts can have far more powerful effect against the Dark Dream and for the Light as a whole . . . than is easily put into words.

I wish I could share the very powerful and lasting dream I had a few nights ago. That’s where this post came from. I could not get back to sleep until I wrote something on it.
I’ve not come across any specific books or articles on it; so when I retire from trucking perhaps I should write some! Until then, I just keep sharing the journey with you folks.

I am just starting to read about DMT, our Spirit, dreams, etc. Some far out thinking – literally.

I don’t think so. I’ve had those before, and while there good element of control there’s also the chaotic.
This was well-orchestrated; like a rock-solid message/event playing out without any quirks or holes in the plot. It still sticks powerfully with me more than a week after the fact.
I am hesitant to consider it as entirely from my own conscious or subconscious mind.
This reminds me of a Harry Potter quote, written by J.K. Rowling for her character Albus Dumbledore to quote:
“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”

I recognize the quote.
But I was speaking of something beyond the happiness-reaction; beyond even the joy that I often write about. I speak of participation in “the Greater Good”, as agents of it for it’s “greater glory”.
The happiness, and the joy, are more “for our greater glory”. I know the world tells us that this should be our primary goal and concern. I’m exploring what might exist beyond this.
We all have the spiritual awareness that we each need to take us into the light after death. As Gina said ” … , if one only remembers to turn on the light.” You possess all that you need —- right now —- to prepare you for the great what-comes-next.
Just as you were prepared for this world before you were born, as you floated in the embryonic fluid of your mother’s womb. You floated in absolute comfort. You did not feel that you needed these silly hands with fingers, these legs, or the silly feet with all the little round toes, and lungs that you are not using. Why even have a digestive system? What could those be for? Of what use are they? You had all that you needed to stay in that womb for eternity —- even with all the extra parts you are not using. ——– Then you were born into this world. In this world, you needed all of those extra parts and learned to use them.
This is how it is now in your life. You have the spirituality to turn on your light, Maybe you wonder why you need the ability to do that. Why??? I’m just fine without it. I am happy in the darkness. You have the ability to strengthen your spirituality, even before you become spirit, after death. No matter what your belief system tells you, and no matter what belief you are comfortable in, you have the tools now, in life, to prepare for the next world.

I hear a lot in the world about “the belief you are comfortable with” — or worse, “the God of your own understanding”.
My spiritual journey has rarely been about comfort. It’s been challenging; at times stark. Sort of like what happens when you are in the darkness of a dream and suddenly a light flares so bright that the darkest recesses of shadow-dom are revealed.
And I find that “my own understanding” is more about ego and closing down within the boundaries of our own comfort zone . . . than of growth. (As in, ‘the beginning of learning is to admit that I don’t understand).
The first “use” of my spiritual awakening was about comfort: about being set free from the things that imprisoned me. It was an awesome gift.
But what does one do with such an awesome gift? Just sit back and collect dividends of comfort and understanding? Congregate with hymn-singing-hoards out to reinforce their “good feelings for myself”
Or should one actually do something of significance-beyond-self with it??

What I find is that “the things for me” (fulfillment, feeling good) are secondary. Pleasant side-effect.
At first they dominated as “primary”. But the scriptures of several belief-systems go to great lengths to reinforce humility and down-play what can easily turn into a “feeling addiction”. It’s like when charismatic leaders get people all wound up on good feelings. It becomes more about personal profit and less about participation in and benefit for the greater whole.
OK Griz. this one is definitely out there. I recommend you take two tabs of peyote and call me in the morning.
From a pure prose perspective it might be your best work. My brain was doing somersaults, but they were graceful to some degree.
But for the foundational message of the post. I like it.

It’s what the term originally means.
But we live in a time where meanings, ideas and definitions one doesn’t “like” become “fake news”
