What is your go to comfort food?

Home made soup reminds me of better times. There is magic in soup that transcends space and time…my mother made soup from scratch that just talking about it to others would remind them of home and mom.
Chicken is my comfort food. However, my favorite food is tacos!!!! When I was a little girl, my Grandma always had a chicken on the stove to eat while she listened to me complain. And tacos are my favorite because Mom and I would have tacos at Redondo Beach on the good days when she was happy with me. Tacos remind me of good times.
There are so many. Many of them are sweet. I like blueberry muffins and brownies the mostest.
Others would be Mac and cheese, my moms chicken and rice, and quesadillas

when i cant fire up a soup ill make eggs and fried taters with lots of cheese for dinner. that seems to be our comfort food
