This song hold a great deal of meaning to me. Perhaps it ties me to the past…and to memories of something I may have lost along the way, (my sanity maybe), or a sense of innocence forever lost in some far distant land what seems like a million years ago or only yesterday.
Music has a way of snapping me to a time and place or significant event in my life that left it’s indelible mark on my soul. As crazy as some of you think I am…if it weren’t for music, I truly would go insane. My taste in music varies greatly, from classical symphonies to bluegrass to heavy metal rock-n-roll to Delta Blues.
Music is the engine that drives my soul..and keeps me reasonably sane in an insane world. (But I’m still waiting for the mother-ship to arrive and rescue me from this lump of dirt you call planet Earth).
