It was good to watch. Like any sign —– like a falling rock sign in the road —– it does no good to place the sign right where a rock will fall on you as you read it. It is best that the sign is seen BEFORE you reach the part of the road where rocks have been known to fall, from time to time. It may not mean that you WILL get hit with a rock, but just be aware it happens. A sign is a sign to watch out for … . Something is coming. Be ready. have preparations for any emergency that should befall your area. Be ready for the electricity to fail. Have emergency food and fuel. Be able to live off of the grid. You never know what is to happen in your area. Do you live on the side of a nearby volcano? Then there are fires, or floods. Do you live in the hurricane path? Is your house near an earthquake fault? Are you living on the coast where a tsunami could hit? There is a solar system that is plowing through our own solar system and it is causing weather anomalies right now. Your bare eyes do not see the planets and dwarf stars that are near our sun right now, but the camera does show it. —- even the camera on your phone and tablet can see these. —- Take a picture of the sun and look for the dark orbs.

Preppers. Great. Rather than try to be a part of the solution, they just resign themselves to selfishly accepting what they think is the inevitable. This is the kind of behaviour that leads to self fulfilling prophesy.
Got 8 minutes in and saw propaganda that uses fear to fuck up an attitude and unfortunately that has become the American Way. This shit is tainting your perspective and feeding something that you mistakenly think is appetizing. You have to ask yourself why do you find this stuff appetizing?
Kennedy preached hope and was probably killed for it. Remember when America was happy? Remember when Hope reigned supreme?
Would you really want to exist in a post apocalyptic world where you knew you did nothing to prevent what happened and just had the mere satisfaction of surviving it? That, to me, illustrates the most pathetic of losers who disguise their chicken shit fear with this camouflage of pitiful self love.
Did you post this as a warning, or because you want to be able to say I told you so to all your dead neighbours with your last breath? Really ask yourself that question and be honest with yourself. Then consider your answer and evaluate if there is anything productive associated with it beyond self satisfaction? Then try to figure out why self satisfaction takes precedence over social commitments, if any in fact exist.
I’m not saying any of this to insult you. I am trying to broaden your perspective to try and step back from this menu of negativity that you seem to feed at. Try exposing yourself something positive. At the very least get a more balanced meal so you can compare considerations for a more objective perspective.
I don’t want to accept the “inevitable” and this response to your post is my small way of trying to act responsibly now, rather than sitting in a bunker later with my can of Spam feeling smug.
@immortal_pirate I sincerely considered doing that but when you just posted with no description, or opinion of your own of what the point of it was; I just had no rational way to justify another second of the drivel being espoused. I couldn’t justify wading through the initial crap for a hopefully valuable conclusion.
What did you get out of that hour plus documentary?

Reminds me of a joke. A guy is sitting on his roof as flood waters rise all around him. A guy in a canoe paddles by and offers him a ride. The guy on the roof says, “It’s ok, I’m waiting for God to help me.” Half an hour later, a guy in a pontoon boat offers his assistance, The guy responds with, “No thanks. I’m waiting for God to come through”. Shortly thereafter a helicopter comes by and offers to haul him up to safety. Again, same response.
Eventually the waters rise to the point where it carries him downstream where he gets stuck under a log and drowns. He dies and when he gets to Heaven he searches out God and asks Him, WTF? I was waiting for You. Why didn’t you save me? God replies, Listen asshole, who do you think sent the canoe, the boat and the chopper??
@spitfire3dc It was about so much more than merely prepping. And Immortal Pirate would be the guy in the canoe, pontoon boat, or helicopter. When he says he is prepared, he means he is prepared. He is prepared to help others,as well. Mankind here on Earth has no power to stop what is coming through space. If you know how to stop the planets from swooping by, please share it with us. Even NASA has no answers. If you don’t like one segment of the film, them move forward a little. This film was about so much more than that one segment.
