All America would have to do would be:
1. To become a tyrannical dynasty (good efforts being made here!)
2. Prove stable for the 2000 years it took to build The Great Wall (America can’t manage 250 years without tearing itself into warring factions)
3. Re-enact slave labor (the Unions wouldn’t allow)
4. Take responsibility for the tab instead of “requiring” the Mongols to pay for it.
Plus . . . NO wall would keep those who would treat others wickedly, from treating others wickedly.
It can be done as illustrated in the picture above. The real question anyone should be asking is SHOULD it be done and WHY?
How is it that we’ve progressed this far and never had a wall? Berlin took theirs down and it was a sign of progress. In my mind, putting one up is the opposite and it detracts economically as well as socially from far more pressing needs in this country like the state of education, medical care as well as hundreds of more humane pressing issues. Want to do something about violent crime? Overhaul the judicial system, how it works and what it is supposed to do.
‘Merica’s hard earned tax money can be better spent on it’s own ground.

It can be done. However, the wall President Trump is planning will be fence-like and 30 feet tall with a top that cannot be scaled.
