Keep off of my front yard rocks!!! Also, any stray cat that tries to come into my garden and fight with my cats. I have a BB gun and now a pellet air gun that will sting the butt of any trespassers. My other “hill” is anyone causing me trouble in the grocery store parking lot. I have had to throat-punch a teenage girl who tried to grab my purse. Then a tall black man rushed by my cart as I was loading my groceries into my car. He grabbed a bag of groceries out of my cart. No matter how large a man is, if you kick him in the knees, he will come down. I cought up with him, kicked his knees and got my groceries back. Then there was the lady who got angry at me for walking slow, as she waited for me to pass in front of her car. She started calling me some filthy names because my old ass was moving too slow. I stopped in the middle of her car hood and just stared at her while she cussed me out. Then the store manager came out to see what all the trouble was about. I made the sign language sign for I’m sorry, as I said, ” Ahm showrey”. Figuring that I could not hear her, she stopped screaming obscenities at me. I walked on. The store manager asked if there was a problem and I told him that she was saying that my parents were not married when I was born. Cats in my yard and trouble in the parking lot, those are my hill I will die on.
It’s no small thing, but I will always stand my ground on my faith in God, my love of country, and the freedoms we all enjoy because men paid for those freedoms with their lives and fortunes.
