I noticed that Jeers purporting that methods if enlightness actuall y is what bonds you. I noticed that the self called “immortal pirate: and his gf, stinky also agree.
Probably is, this is just what they want to believe.
But, 1 immortal pirate is far from immortal. It is a lie he uses to gain honor from others.
If you have never engaged in such efforts, and call in mind control, they could not be wrong. Only their real god is their stomach, and meaningless statements — because they have never been able to do this.
why not just claim you have been at the black hole at the center of the universe?
But the sad fact is, false prophets are good at getting people to believe what they want.
Those who have not gone a single day without food shows food has been your god.
You won’t live long, unless you get obvious and turn around from preaching on matters you are ignorant of. And, frankly, not man enough to free themselves
from food. So chained to it.
why bother otherwise? Only a few and the brave have actually done these things,
So, if ignorant of it, why claim the lie you know all about it?
Might as well have a lawyer do your health work, and a doctor do your legal work. It is insane and conceited.

the freedom you speak of is easily obtained. Be homeless, addicted to drugs. Most of the people on the street would rather have a beer or illegal drugs than food any day of the week, and will often turn down – or even throw out food in their quest for drug money.
@Jear77
Hiding is the antithesis of true freedom
@griz you must have not read his post on a vision quest. I don’t get involved with things that… manipulate my sense of reality. Even alcohol i consume in severe moderation.
@Jear77
Actually our senses and perceptions are very greatly manipulated by the maps of meaning we assign ourselves to follow at all costs.
We can be left literally blind to an elephant in the room if our map assess is it as “not important”.
Alcohol is more of an inhibition-reducer. The psycho-active drugs are the active perception-alterers.
Limiting or even avoiding their use is always a wise choice.
I missed any post on Vision Quests; but know a thing or two about them from first-hand experience.
@griz even having low blood sugar levels (i.e. from a fast) is a particularly unwise idea if you need to be fully functional and in the moment… for instance, driving a truck, or acting as a security officer to inform patrons what they are allowed to do or where to go.
@Jear77
Agreed.
One of the guiding precepts of both a fast and vision quest, is to intentionally set aside time for it.
Trying to multitask weakens the commitment and therefore the process.
(You tell your primitive subpersonalities to produce you a map of scattered destinations, and unity of focus is lost.)
@griz ain’t gonna happen. I can’t set aside time. Even being sick and off one day from work was VERY detrimental to my financial well being a few weeks ago. And I’m STILL playing “catch up”
@Jear77
There is the very real possibility that getting your internal Kingdom in order would increase focus, productivity, availability and efficient use of internal resources. How much is currently used up by worrying and suffering and worrying about suffering?
This would improve overall desirability as an employee. This is distantly linked to your “think your way to success” book.
Both involve risk in out-laying of precious resources now, for increased gain later. It’s a standard investment strategy. Many people have used it to escape from a hand-to-mouth existence.
There is no freedom. Life is a prison. Probably one of the very few Bible quotes that I love:
“Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed– and they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors– and they have no comforter. And I declared that the dead, who had already died, are happier than the living, who are still alive. But better than both is he who has not yet been, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun.”
@yin
Something I found in all the sacred writings I’ve come across is that if one approaches them with an agenda or bias (a map of meaning), support for it will be found.
Which is actually a scriptural promise. You will find what you seek; so seek with a pure heart.
The lamentations are there. But they are alongside, and greatly outnumbered by messages of hope and transcendent freedom.
I hear you.
It’s as silly as trying to assert one is some sort of special prophet; and others are false simply for not endorsing you!
Maybe it’s time for a fast from all face-wasting substances?
@five2one , My Immortality is none of your concern. Your opinion of me matters not.
