This video is only 5 minutes long, and it’s beautiful. It’s various sets of couples who do not know each other, sitting across from each other. They look into each other’s eyes for 4 minutes, and the result is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. It’s amazing to see how only 4 minutes can bring people closer.
Enjoy.

Very moving.
I think real eye contact is quite rare these days. You could tell there was an initial sense of reluctance(?) to perhaps invade the privacy of the other. Receiving permission based on giving permission creating what may have bee a starting point of trust and the sensation of trust grew from there.
The experience of knowing someone will not attack is probably instrumental in not communicating defensively. Maybe if we all understood aggressive behaviour is founded on fear, and trust was more of the objective to grow, versus fear of a negative consequence, self perceived or not, we might have a more effective human community.
Thanks for sharing a positive Soul Sequel experience. I felt something through that illustration.
@spitfire3dc I am glad you liked it and it moved you. True, we don’t make enough eye contact on a daily basis as much anymore. I miss hanging out it the record, video stores chatting about music and movies with strangers, face to face.
