Only that 1 of these things is an accurate portrayal of what people got together to do to black individuals in this country less than 50 years ago. I’m not aware of a modern day, comedian, and public figure beheading someone.

Jihadi John (Mohammed Emwazi) wasn’t American. Nor was he a comedian or public figure beyond having been made famous for a beheading video. As far as I can tell, he never stepped foot on American soil. He was born in Kuwait, moved to the United Kingdom with family, joined ISIS, then was later killed in Raqqa, Syria.
Also, I am talking about the evocation of imagery used to make a statement, it if wasn’t clear. People lynched black people, and thus lynching or otherwise destroying an image of Barack Obama seems more concerning – could be seen as an overt threat. Kathy Griffin holding a bloody head – having no connection to any group that committed violent acts or could be associated with extremists holding the head of Donald Trump simply doesn’t seem that shocking or serious. It wasn’t a smart move, but I can’t get onboard the hate train.
There’s obviously a VAST difference between the one mistake of someone paid to entertain . . . and the string of mistakes in someone paid to hold the highest office in the land and lead a nation.
She is free to make her treasonous statement —- but there are consequences and she will pay the consequences for her threats to our President.
As for Trump getting us out of that Paris deal. It was an unfair deal for America and a money pit for which we get nothing from it. I am happy that he fulfilled his promises to get America out of that deal.
The rub is that the Paris Accord was probably NOT going to immediately benefit anyone over the age of say, 10.
Perhaps even younger.
Any benefit was going to be seen by future generations — and yes, the older generations would be called upon to foot the bill for this. The cycle of [grand] children paying for the sins of their [grand] parents needs to end. Even if our greed needs to take a back-seat for their sake.
And one needs to guard against the hypocrisy that is inherent in all political games. Let’s not forget now-President Trump repeatedly and publically accused the then-President of the United States of federal crimes (which itself is a crime!).

I rarely laugh at anything that illustrates any degree of shock and awe, but by American standards that fake head was significantly less awesome than the 500,000 REAL Iraqi casualties, of which many were innocents and now callously considered collateral damage, just so YOU feel safe and secure a zillion miles away from where the bombs are dropped.
