what are you eating these days?

as I age, I do occasionally contemplate my health, and decide to make some positive changes in my life. My questions to you:
what are you eating these days?
do you pay attention to what you put in your body?
why do you eat as you do?
have you ever tried a meal delivery service? Seems like a lot of Money to send to me, but wondering if anyone else has tried it?

Yes, as we age, we are watching what we eat. We are cutting down on potatoes and starches, but we have not cut out pastries. As we get even older, we will have to make changes in our caloric intake.

In California, my next door neighbors were people that did not like to shop in grocery stores and ordered fast food and take-out every night. They were both overweight and had health problems. THEN they ordered the meal delivery service and the food delivered to their door made exactly enough for the two of them. Each delivery had recipe instructions for how to cook the meal. There were even exotic ingredients that they would never find at any grocery store. Each night was something new to eat. They saved money in the long run and both of them lost a lot of weight. The diabetes they thought they had, disappeared, because of the better eating plan. It worked for them.

I wouldn’t like the food boxes, because I don’t want someone dictating what I have to cook. Also, I love grocery shopping.

  2. I prefer bison to beef. Bison is leaner, having less fat than beef. Bison is free of the chemicals one would find in beef. Commercially produced beef is full of growth hormones and other substances (bovine pharmaceuticals), that are NOT good for you.
I generally eat whatever I want. I usually only eat one meal a day, and snacks occasionally when I don’t feel like cooking. To me, peanut butter and crackers is a snack. A peanut butter sandwich is a meal.
Lady Barbara is an excellent cook…her cooking hasn’t killed me yet, so I generally eat whatever she prepares for us.

I’ll answer (oddly enough) with what i am *not* consuming.
I found my body can’t handle spicy food or caffeine. So i try to avoid them as much as I can.

I eat whatever I want to eat.

What you put into your mouth is not what kills you, but what comes out of your heart.

Watch what comes out of your heart, and clean that. Then, the whole cup will be clean for you.

Clean the outside, but leave the inside full of filth, and you will die.

@five2one I LIKE YOU. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU BABBLE UNCONTROLLABLY. ITS LIKE YOU’RE DRUNK BUT NOT. MOST OF THE STUFF IS INTERESTING, BUT THE OTHER 30% IS YOU TALKING TO YOURSELF. HALF-SENTENCES, BLURBS, UNQUOTED QUOTES, ANTICIPATORY LESSONS, FALSEHOODS, AND EVEN SOME PROPITIATORY COMMENTS AS WELL. KEEP UP THE WORK. MAKES FOR READING.

        @Tits McGee Hahahaha haaaa… :-)

Well, I was often on cough syrup, these past few months… but that was to fake mania and psychosis. Caffeine and pacing to fake anxiety.

Got me back in the joint/rehab, exactly where I was called to be.

I even told my wife this. That I might have to fake being crazy to get into the institution… a plan I had already clearly enacted before her.

Hehehe… she was subconsiously with me, in spirit truly, all the way.

Our masterpiece we enacted many decades ago.

        This was a master stroke.

But, yeah, truly, I can talk like this even off everything. Hehehehe…. :-)
