I did not think I was very picky, but when a cousin stayed here for a week’s visit, we noticed habits that we had trouble with. Each time he walked through our hallway he turned lights on to see, then left them on. Immortal Pirate and I were constantly having to turn off the hall light. He would leave the bathroom light on all night. Then one night we had to go out leaving our cousin guest all alone. I left a huge roast beef and two packages of brussles sprouts in the crock pot. When we returned home, he had eaten ALL of the brussles sprouts, leaving none for us. Well, I had told him to help himself to all he wanted. While we were gone, he called his wife to tell her he was afraid of our living room. He went around the room describing tomahawks, guns, knives, bows with arrows, a spear, swords of all types. He said it was frightening. When his wife told me of that conversation, I told her, thank goodness he didn’t go in the bedroom to see the bazooka-looking marshmallow cannon. She asked me why we would have a bazooka-looking cannon in our bedroom? ———- “Republican foreplay” , I quipped. (but really, it is because we have no other wall space in the living room to mount it there.)
I am picky about scaredy-cat, snowflake cousins not wanting to stay here any longer because we have weapons and keep turning lights off in the hallway. Also, he had to be told to close the front door when he went through it. I was forgiving because at his home, his wife closes the doors, and they leave the bathroom light and hall light on all the time.

I guess I don’t like the feeling of someone reading or viewing something over my shoulder. Dunno why. It is just an eerie feeling I guess.

I was happy the day he left.
I tend to be picky about what others are picky about, as I reflect them. This is what I do.
