There is a not-so-subtle form of self-aggrandizement (self-worship) in the presumption that physics explains everything.
It can skate around issues of the higher aspects of the humanities like peace, joy, and love. It can detect the resulting chemical and biological processes and presume that said “reasons of physics” are all that are going on.
After all, the MUST be all that is going on! Otherwise we would detect and “put handles” on those processes.
Right?

For are we not just . . . awesome?
Everything does happen for a reason. I am sure of this. We can choose to seek out these reasons or not. We can choose to try to apply just the “logic of death” to them. (For this is all our “logic” can see as the ultimate end of everything). Or to look for possible reasons beyond just the march to death.
For death is not the highest “noun” in the cosmos.
Life is. And the creatures of death only think they have a grasp on Life for the shortest of seasons . . . and fancy themselves as gods.
