For me, I think a toxic relationship happens when the other person is being fake, and generally, not honest about their feelings and thoughts.
Conversely, a good relationship requires upfront on one’s feelings, and why one feels the way they do.

A toxic relationship has a drunk in it that keeps falling off the wagon, losing his job, blaming me for his own failures, then beating me because he is angry at himself. Add to that both of us had hot and fiery tempers. He wanted to kill me and I was always ready to leave —— and then I did.

Then, I loved myself enough to want only the best and nothing is toxic. Life is delicious.
A toxic relationship is any relationship where everyone involved is not actively trying to make the relationship better.
