I am picky about my cooking. Everything has to be flavorful, but not too spicy. Everything must be easy to bite, without hard crunchy bits. I am careful of Immortal Pirate’s few teeth. And now, I should be more aware of food being long-beard-friendly. Messy foods can drip on Immortal Pirate’s beard. Long noodles swimming in sauce will end up on Immortal’s beard and get on the front of my shirt when I come in for the “thank you” kisses.
I’m a bit of a picky person. I’m mostly picky about when it comes to how I like to keep my things and what I want to eat though. I just kinda feel like, if something is mine or I’m going to do something, I want to do it in the way that best suits myself. This is the same for what I eat. I’m going to be the one who is affected by the experience…so if I don’t want onions in my damn hamburger – leave them out.
I don’t think that my pickiness affects others negatively. I’m sure at times, it can be inconvenient for others, but my requests are never ridiculous. They’re mostly simple silly things that 9/10 people will laugh at.
In regards to your middle initial…ironically, I’ve pretty much given up my middle initial. If I’m ever given the chance to drop it, I do. People are always surprised by this…”You don’t have a middle initial on your credit cards?” GASP!
@mj Because my father’s and my names are identical, JUST in case something I do is bad or wrong, I never want it affecting my dad’s credit. his reputation, his good name, etc. And it would be SUPER easy for it to happen. The only way for it not to happen is if they check the social security number or the age. And sometimes on forms neither detail is required.
