My question: When will the people of California wake up and change this situation?
How does importing illegal aliens into California make that state better?(it doesn’t)
If California secedes from the United States, as has been proposed by some of the democrats in that states government, how quickly will they beg America for foreign aid to continue to prop up their socialist government?

What Would Happen if CALIFORNIA SECEDED from the Union (America)?
The best part of California is the shoreline of the Pacific ocean, but, according to the Navy maps of a future where California gets flooded out, the ocean will come to Arizona. I will enjoy walking the shores of Buckeye Beach, just West of Phoenix. What a joy when God washes the trash of California out to the sea.

@luftballooneyegouge Yes they are. My late husband was in the Navy. I have seen these same maps for quite a few years. They are shown to Navy families to be able to settle in safe places. My late husband wanted us to move to Ohio, or the Ozarks.

Either side in power for very long runs the nation off a cliff. Neither side is totally sustainable on its own.
So the “tribal warfare” of trying to demonize the other side out of existence is essentially trying to run the nation off a cliff.
Rather than asking people whether they want to die in action or die of boredom, the best option is to balance things out and continue to run a system that has (before perverse tribal warfare and identity politics!) proven amazingly stable over time!

It’s similar to what feminists do in pointing out the obvious truth of male violence, while totally overlooking the less demonstrative forms of violence that they commit: forms that can be far more dastardly and long-reaching.

There’s a dire psychology in always needing to pin the blame “over there”. It’s often a desperate “don’t look at me too closely maneuver”.
There are problems that need addressing. But drilling holes in the other side of the boat . . . Addresses them how??
Be careful opening cans of worms about the other side’s shame. Let’s remember that the conservative shame has a one-word name. (Actually, a few of them).
But again, drilling holes in the other side of the ship is counterproductive.
