Conventional armed response would be slow and prolonged.
DT is into quick and often simplistic solutions (then blaming others when they go inevitably awry). If there ever was a risk of foolishly “pushing the big button” it is now.
And the fallout consequences would not respect imaginary lines drawn on a map.
