Share about what has been going on in your life lately?
I just finished summer courses and took my toughest course yet, research methodology and design. I did not enjoy that course and am very glad it is over. I have two semesters left and then I will graduate. I am relieved and do not plan on ever returning to school. I am happy to have a break. In two weeks I will fly to Colorado for a work conference. Looking forward to that trip before I have to fry my brain again in the last two semesters of grad school.

Actually, I’m enjoying retirement. Life is good.
The mesquite tree in the front yard is dropping pods and the Homeowner’s Association will fine us if we don’t keep them picked up. I am going out and picking them up everyday. Some days it is windy and it is nice to see Immortal Pirate in his kilt sweeping the sidewalk and driveway.

@Scarlett2 Thank you. We are settled down in our retirement years. We have a groove, but it is not a rut. If one of us takes an interest in something, usually we will both want to look into it. We do have differences, like Immortal Pirate likes to brew mead. I don’t drink alcohol, so my interest in mead is —- zero. I especially do not want to run a home-brewed product through my healthy liver. So, the Meaderies in our area have caught Immortal’s attention. Brewers of a feather flock together. The people are nice, but I will settle in a corner with my A&W Root Beer and watch the socializing of the other members. It is not my cup-of-tea. I am inclined to stay home, while Immortal goes to gatherings to sample mead brews.
