Probably getting to know all of you through the years. I feel like it is a collection of very unique personalities that I either don’t see or don’t exist out there in the general bubble. There is always some unique perspective here. Some of the people, I learn from, some I admire, some make me laugh, and some make me wonder. All good things.

A few friends from SoulPancake that have questions and conversations that are deeper than what I experience in real life friends. It is not that I have not tried to get conversations out of real life friends. I have raised topics and questions from SoulPancake and SoulSequel and the conversation stops and the person suddenly has to go somewhere. Friends in real life just pass “Hello. How-ya-doing” and they are really not interested in how am I doing. So, I drop in here and find some good topics and friends I have never seen.
A few SoulPancake friendships continue on facebook. Like Mel. Mel has had a bad year with her Old Dad and he just passed away. I have more in common with facebook friends, because they are some of my real life friends and family members. Between facebook and SoulSequel I get a few laughs and insight. Griz is full of insight. Scarlett is always self inspecting and brings up questions I never ask of myself. Weenis is an Arizonian and gives the perspective of most of my real life neighbors.
I can come to SoulSequel and get a taste of hate for our President that I never hear from anywhere else, even in real life. I just shake my head and push the “x” and go to places where that hate doesn’t exist.
@ladybarbara I miss SoulPancake, at least there we had a more balanced environment.

Because everyone here is so different, but also unique, I get to put through them ideas, and see how they come out in a pretty gorgeous way.
A *lot* of my work involves knowing how people think and react so as to be able to blend into their social groups, and SP provides exactly that.
I not insincere on this, the people are generally very good at being their own selves.

It seems I can’t answer this question. I’ve tried twice and I keep drifting towards the negative.
I came here for the same reason I went to Soul Pancake. The book was a part of a mission to ask the BIG questions and to find ways to constructively talk about things with a spin of happiness.
I’m not sure that such a place will ever exist. I wish it would.
I read a response that referred to the imbalance of this place and was kind of surprised that I feel the same way from perhaps the opposite polarity. This might be my greatest learning from this place. We experience what we choose to experience. The same experience can offer the opposite response within ourselves, simply because we choose to believe what we want to believe. Its a flaw and I have to accept that I am not immune to the flaw as well.
