HA! I’m commenting & I didn’t watch the video!
I don’t think people are ignoring you as much as taking breaks from The New Millenium Bad-Newsvalanche.
(…gonna go watch the vid now)
@luftballooneyegouge For Zinfandel’s, Rombauer from Napa Valley CA is my favorite. Trader Joe’s sells it sometimes. Grab it when you can!
I dig Washington wines: Any blend from Andrew Will & anything from L’Ecole N° 41.
Oregon’s Pinot Noirs rival France’s as their growing regions are very similar. Pinots like warm days and cool nights. They are situated in the southern part of Oregon, close to the coast. Perfect for these grapes.
@luftballooneyegouge To add: I have been to afraid to look at the list of wineries that were lost to the fires in California. I just took a peek and the amazing Gundlach Bundschu in Sonoma, CA is damaged, but still standing. Romabauer is still there. They have 5 miles of underground cave cellars. They pour you a glass and walk you through the caves.
I highly recommend that winery for a visit. The only winery like that in the Napa Valley.
@Gina
I can’t remember the last year I drank anything. I have too much of a sweet-tooth for the flavor of booze, although I do crave irish-car-bombs or depth charges everytime I go to a tavern.
If legislators won’t address the glaringly obvious, then it becomes glaringly obvious that an agenda to serve the public is not even on the agenda.
it’s interesting how we hear laughter in response to stupidity. It has come to that. We laugh instead of acting responsibly to change things because it is the easier road.

I wonder if laws should come to fill the gap for too much foolish behavior? There would seem to be a recognition in current legislation that it’s far riskier to enter into an intimate (and vulnerable) relationship with someone you haven’t taken the time to get to know first.
I’ve heard stats that say a woman on a casual hook-up with stranger they’ve just met is far more likely to suffer food poisoning from the restaurant entree than to be physically or sexually assaulted by their new acquaintance. It’s just that the few cases where this kind of assault occurs have never-ending media circuses erected around them; while we remain conveniently unaware of the many many many cases where the men behave honorably.
Domestic violence is a huge issue. And it happens both way; it’s just that the attacks of men tend to be more physically overt and demonstratively effective than the kind of psychological assassination women prefer: the kind that doesn’t leave physical marks a jury can view photographs of.
The ready availability of guns in the US is a factor here. But look abroad to see other nations have similar problems, but with not as many guns available other weapons are employed. And not just by the men!!
A true gentleman should not allow themselves to be driven to a point of physical assault on those weaker. It’s far better for them to just walk away and stay away if they are in danger of being pushed too far by some well-orchestrated psychological attack/assault of a bitching partner pushing every sensitive trigger they have.
But the ladies should not be setting out to drive the men here either, just so they can “activate the victim-card” and have all of their dirt excused.
Comedian Bill Burr makes a poignant observation that right now there is the presumption that all violence is totally male-instigated — and that the women are saintly flowers of victimhood, levitating above the rest of us ball-bearing demons.
He points out that even the “brute” sport of manly hockey recognizes a penalty for instigating!
There’s zero accountability for women to actually get to know just what kind of dick they are falling into bed with. Close “the boyfriend loophole” if you must. But don’t you dare overlook that you are taking a far greater risk with a “casual boyfriend” than with someone you go through a traditional long courtship and engagement with, and actually get to know who they are before falling into bed with them.
To try to make something entirely the fault of one sex when both play an active role, is what makes too many outbreaks of modern feminist . . . no more noble than the “evil patriarchy” that apparently is responsible for everything!

Stay strong in your convictions Gina.
@spitfire3dc I feel change coming, slowly, but it’s coming.
Laughter, we are at the point if we don’t laugh; we just keep screaming….and that hurts too much.

Her agenda of hating men is a little “loud”.
