My definition:
No more beating around the bush, no more euphemisms, President Donald Trump is a racist. This is a straightforward statement of fact. It was true in 1973, when the Justice Department sued the company run by him and his father for discriminating against black potential tenants; and it was true in 1989, when Trump took out a racist ad in New York City newspapers calling for the reinstatement of the death penalty in the case of the Central Park Five; and it was true on Thursday, when Trump referred to African nations and Haiti as “shithole” countries and wondered why the U.S. couldn’t get more immigrants from countries like Norway.

I think this is brilliant.
We are all racist to some degree — harkening from past processes that successfully guarded the diversity of our species for eons.
Racism happens when the intellectual and spiritual (higher) processes of our species are overshadowed by the fear and ego (lower) aspects of our species.
My personal thought is that we need to remain “free” to observe and note that the various races both excel and struggle with different things . . . without the PC police battering down our doors.
Any dialogue and solutions will have to have eyes open and freedom of speech preserved . . . yet under the moderating and compassionate control of the higher aspects of Human nature.
(And perhaps the recognition that a race/culture/nation that persevered in a region long enough to become a desirable immigration-destination for other races and cultures . . . needs to be respected for nurturing a nation to the point where it became a desirable immigration-destination for those of other races and culture seeking refuge!)

What another person “is or is not” is their burden to carry. Even the POTUS.
It is what it is. We don’t really need to expend energy (or outrage) over what someone else clearly decides to be.
Yes, it can affect public decision-making for a cycle. But he is just a man, and not a particularly great one. Anything good that is “lost” for a season will definitely be regained (and them some!) the next time the cycle turns.
