Stone Cold Steve Austin’s pro wrastlin gimmick was that he was a red-neck fight’n fer workin’ man pride.
Every week folks could tune in & see this bald white guy take no shit, like they had to at work & from the Mrs. or school for the smaller folks. So every week they vicariously got to give their feather-weight-oppressors the finger & chug a beer at them. This went on for 8 years, & ended in the DUHbya administration.
Austin was pretty beat up due to all the injuries & surgeries & then he got arrested for wife-beating.
Of course a little wife-beating wasn’t going to bother the WWE or its’ fans too much but the physical toll was too much for his wrastlin career to take so Austin was relegated to guest appearances and mostly more of a talking role. Right before Obama, Austin made an appearance at Wrestlemania somethingth as a special referee with a match involving Trump. That’s the match from where they put the CNN logo getting clotheslined by Donnie John. It’s too bad the camera work at the end wasn’t better.

I will add that Beyonce’s Formation performance at the 2016 Superbowl scared the S H I T out of many white males, which probably added fuel to the already simmering anger, fear and frustration. I do not know any angry men in my life. I have known men — normal men — that wanted something other than me and we broke up. When each saw how easily I pick up and leave, without looking back, they became angry. Even if they already had another woman in their life, they got angry that I seemed unphased, as I packed my things and started on a new life adventure. I listened to the anger on the phone. Then, I hung up and went on with my life. I live my life without angry men in it. I do not know any angry men in my life.

This video is almost pure “equality of outcome” with a time-spin that just cannot be reconciled with History. (Of course there’s no black faces on the money!! Just as there’s no caucasian faces on Chinese money. Don’t they know how much of their infrastructure was built by enslaved white POW’s?
For how many generations does a people have to pay recompense . . . for things they never did? What horrible things from History do you daily reap the rewards from, without having to constantly pay and re-pay for the injustices of the past?? @griz we need to start with correcting the racism that is going on now. racism is still happening. Whites continue to earn more income than blacks. 65 percent of the people in prison for life for non violent drug offenses are black. There are wide ranging disparities in housing and education, as well. I agree we can’t fix the past, but lets at least stop denying it, or blaming the victim, and start repairing what is going on. Also, almost every time there is an argument on this stuff its from the most privileged class there is, a white man. is it possible there could be a lack of empathy here?

Equality of outcome is pure postmodern neo-Marxism, and almost exclusively based on overly-simplistic univariate analysis. Two groups identified by race (or sex) can exhibit differences in outcome for reasons far more complex than just “racism” (or sexism). Simplistic approach will just make us simpletons, incapable of solving complex social issues.
Actually, we need to be careful throwing around the label of “most privileged class”. We hear lots about “the richest 20%”. But do you know that on a world stage a good chunk of “the poorest Americans” are in that richest 20%?
Did you know that the combined buying power of the American black community is estimated in the hundreds of billions? Some studies have put it at almost $1 trillion.
I read several articles just yesterday that suggest that if black America was a nation, they would rank somewhere between the 44th to 15th richest nation out of 196 total world nations? (Depending on the analysis method used and variables corrected for and how)
Considering black Americans started as chattel slaves just 155 years ago (196 out of 196), even the less impressive 44th richest . . . is very impressive!
Is it as good as American whites?
No.
But let’s remember that most whites had their eras of slavery several hundreds of years ago. So it’s reasonable to expect them to be doing better, and for reasons not hinging on racism.
Denying someone equal opportunity based on race is illegal. But pushing for manifest equality of outcome is artificial, clueless social constructivist with delusions of Utopia . . . and postmodern neo-Marxist.
That devious social constructivist experiment was run several times in the 20th Century . . . and failed horrendously and rather murderously every single time even a shade of it was tried.
That is not dismissing that genuine social issues exist. But plopping down a “group oppression” card based on simplistic reckoning, is irresponsibly dangerous at best and wantonly reckless at worst.

Right off the bat there is a logic disconnect. How does some white dude running a fortune 500 Company intersect with the white dude who is angry got his car just got jacked by a bunch of black thugs, or who is aggressively run out of an area just because his skin is white? Or is injured in a black gang shootout over someone looking at someone else the wrong way?
What does some white elected official have to do with some white dude who has just been railroaded by some black woman’s accusation that he “assaulted her” by greeting her on a hot day with his shirt off? (This was an actual viral youtube video.)
In a country that is mostly white there really is no shock that most of the police officers would be white. If most of them were black that would be an eye-raiser.
And I know this will be a shocker, but if you go to a country founded by black people you will probably find black faces on their money. And China has mostly Chinese faces on it’s money. Korea has mostly people of Korean descent as police officers. It’s shocking! Hardly a white dude to be seen. Blatant racism. Don’t they know just how much of their infrastructure was built by white slave POW’s?
This video is victimhood agenda, pure and simple. There’s hardly an intellectual point to be found it it. What actual rights is he lacking that everyone else in the country has? Or another question: what university could he get a grant, scholarship or bursary that that a white person couldn’t? Should a white guy of just as disadvantaged a past be angry that someone else gets money for post-secondary education but he cannot because his skin is the wrong color?
If I was committing a crime and foolishly resisting an officer, would he give the same kind of pause to dot his I’s and cross his “T”s before neutralizing the threat to public safety in whatever way he deemed fit? Nobody cares if a white officer tazers a resisting white guy the same as if it was a black guy.
This person is mostly moaning about equality of outcome, and the dice-toss of History for a particular region. How much payback and recompense and special dispensation is due because of “undisclosed systemic social injustices”? For how many generations? And what about all the people of other skin-colors who through no fault of their own, have had a rougher go of it than some?
Or the black people of exactly similar background who are making much more and driving fancier cars than a good number of white people in the country?
Why aren’t there more poor people on the money?
Why aren’t there more left-handed, childhood abuse-survivors with learning disabilities and gimpy legs who were not even born when the Nation was being established on the money? Why isn’t someone elected for Congress simply because his skin is black or they have certain genitalia?

He’s trying to say there’s an overreaction happening.
You’re saying the same thing.
The difference: your main beefs are things like affirmative action, which really isn’t a threat to you.
The black experience beef is for things like getting shot to death for no reason by police which really is a threat to them far far more than for people with less melanin.
This video also brings up the problem of how are we going to deal with white pride extremists. I would suggest one way would be to quit echoing their talking points every chance one gets.

I would invite you to examine the “shot to death for no reason” claim.
I’ve seen stats recently on just how many melanin-challenged people are shot to death for stupidly resisting police and they are far higher than most people pop-accept.
They just don’t make the news as often, for a variety of very important reasons that are easily researched if one has the interest to set aside agendas and hunt for fact in the jungle of factoids. (A hint though, they are not as “vogue” in the media . . . and they fly in the face of what some very powerful social agendas want to push)
The category of “extremists” was poorly defined in relation to the all-inclusive generic term “White Guys”.
That’s not dismissing that there may be inequalities (most notably in outcome, not in rights) and social issues to be addressed. But they are not going to be addressed by broadly-brushed, poorly articulated, victimhood-agenda-driven emotionalistic assertions.
The society should REALLY stop swallowing this guff as something good and accurate and wholesome. We can address the problems without being emotional ninnies.

You seem to keep suggesting that they all resisted, which is proven false. The last time I checked execution wasn’t a valid response to resisting arrest, so at the worst, this excuse is pretty lame.
We used to put on local rallies for reefer liberation mon. It’s a common tactic for cops to use physical force on people just standing there, and then charge them with resisting arrest for justification. They even charged one guy they gang tackled with assaulting an officer, because a cop re-injured his leg in the pile-on.
These charges were always dropped after the cops were satisfied the people had been fucked with enough.
We’ve been down this road before. You dismiss All BLM activist work as an Inferior emotional-outburst, because they’re not doing what you Think you’d do in a similar situation.
They’ve made progress with police now seeking to change were before they just shrugged it off.
Dismiss it, because you’re uncomfortable with people who emote when their peers and family are shot to death, but don’t pretend you’d be heading towards surveys, and social testing in a clinical setting if people you loved were shot in their backyard or car while they weren’t doing shit.

I don’t think I’ve ever asserted all of them resisted. But the ratio of those who did is shamefully high. Exclude these as consequence of sheer stupidity, and one is left with a number of victims that just cannot support the emotionalisms brought to bear on this topic.
There’s still a problem to be addressed. Nobody has suggested otherwise. But problems exist with BOTH sides and BLM seems to routinely deny this and try to sweep it under the rug.
How many officers do you think have been shot at or even killed by mellow doobage users!?
Yes, a show of aggressive force IS an approved enforcement tactic used by police the world over. Power can lead to corruption, the world over. It is NOT just a function of racism as BLM loves to assert.

So is Machiavelli the gold standard now? BLM caused the police to change? That’s a mix between “perhaps” and “really??”. Mostly what it’s done is just to increase racial tensions — giving rise to incidents like Philando Castile and Levar Jones (BTW, in the latter case the white officer lost his job and was officially charged. It arguably could/should have been a greater charge — but it’s progress.)
BOTH sides have issues to deal with. BLM confounds things by trying to pretend they are ALL saintly oppressed victims and the white cops are ALL systemically racist murders. That’s the victimhood identity politics (postmodern neo-Marxism) that will likely lead us to the same destination as every other nation in the 20th Century that tried deploying any aspect of Marxist identity-group victimhood politics.

When analyzing the data, everything counts. I’ve never said or implied there are no racial or racist issues. Look again at Fryer data. It most certainly shows that white police are more likely to use non-lethal force on blacks. It shows that white police were quicker to shoot before being attacked in encounters with white suspects. But it also found black suspects were much more likely to attack a white officer first.
Racism is certainly a factor. But it goes both ways. Blacks initiate the attack officers more frequently . . . why? Respect is a 2-way street.
As for this off-shoot group? Why are they not fully incorporated into BLM to give a more balanced picture? It begs the question of whether their agenda NEEDS to keep the picture unbalanced to preserve the “victimhood” delusion! (BTW, the same thing happened in Marxist Russia, helping to indicate the dangerous path these victimhood groups are leading us down).
Did you also notice that 58% of the suspects charged with offenses indicating a high-danger situation (aggravated assault on a Peace Officer, attempted capital murder of a Peace Officer, resisting, evading, and interfering with an arrest) were black? 12% were “non-black, non-hispanic” (ie white). And perhaps bad reporting leaves one to do the math to reveal that 30% were Hispanic. There’s a huge issue here, and it’s not all about problems with the white officers and hatred of “black lives”.
So the BLM main shouting-points are thrown into serious disrepute by this study.
(Whites being shot by police is found in official police reports for people like Fryer to study. But take a look at what gets “reported” in the news, which far more people partake of over actually looking at the studies.)
These various social agendas are their own worst enemies, in that almost every time I’ve looked at their “data” used to extract their shouting-points, I’ve found inaccurate, incompetent or downright deceitful processing (or even collecting) of the data.
So I must say, thanks for that link to the Fryer study. It really does help point out the false cliche’ bullshit that BLM seems addicted to for it’s own survival.
The sad reality is that all of their emotionalistic crap is actually hindering efforts to come to resolutions that are more than just reactionary band-aids.
